My Bio

An editor at Indagare Travel, an online travel publication, Abby Sandman exists in a world of writing, be it a travel essay on the mysterious castles of Sintra or a meticulous guide to the ski mountains of North America. In addition to publications by Indagare, she has been published in The Letter Review and is a two-time shortlist of the Page Turner Awards, as well as a winner of their fantasy genre award. She is a member of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers and has a writing-focused degree in English and psychology, through which she was awarded a prize for her thesis exploring trauma, prejudice, and inequality in a 90,000-word fantasy novel. Though a New Englander at heart, Abby has always had a taste for adventure, and she is just as happy to satisfy it by venturing overseas as she is by diving into the page.
